Another great cookie from the new Martha Stewart Cookie's bible. Carrot Cake Cookies with Cream Cheese filling.... you can find the recipe by clicking the link or if you have the special Holiday Cookies issue from 2001 that is Martha of course! And the Martha wire wear tray that I love, I think I may need about 2 more of those trays. I hope Martha makes some other shapes too, I could use a square one.

Grammy's Chocolate Cookies-Claudine

For one of my first selections I picked the "Grammy's Chocolate Cookies" on page 75. Well my husband picked them actually. Amazingly simple and easy to make at a moments notice. Well after they chill 1 hour. I made the dough on Thursday night and baked them up today.

Using a 1 1/2inch ice cream scoop and rolled into a ball and then rolled in sanding sugar

Out of the oven and perfectly round. I had to marvel out the perfect roundness of them.....

All done and displayed on Martha Wireware. And they are wonderful!

New Book Club selection-Martha Stewart's Cookies

Hot off the presses is the newest book in the Martha Stewart library, the Martha Stewart's Cookies cookbook is more of a Cookie Bible. 345 pages of cookie goodness and over 170 recipes. The book is split into 7 different cookie variations from Light and Delicate to Rich and Dense and a picture to go with every single recipe.

Upon it's eager arrival to my doorstep I devoured every single page and picture and marked over 70 recipes on my list to make.
I have every single book that Martha has ever done, and a few are my very favorite. The Cookie Book is definitely moved to the very favorite list.
The Cookie Book will be the newest selection of the Martha Stewart Book Club, so pick out your cookie and bake them and then share them with all of the Book Club friends. We can't wait to see what you make.....

Red Velvet Cake
